Since 2015, it was not possible exporting poultry genetic from France to People’s Republic of China … Since beginning of 2025, after a better control of bird flu in France and a free status against HPAI of the country, it is now allowed to supply all poultry genetic, and especially our duck genetic, to China. Those supplies restarted immediately after these veterinary authorizations.
The first supplies to P.R.China has been organized for Grimaud Chengdu company, branch of Grimaud Frères company, with a GP placement realized successfully during the first half of this year.
The birds travelled well and arrived safely in Grimaud Chengdu quarantine farm.
The GP breeders are now growing well, and this genetic will be available locally for the clients of Grimaud Chengdu within few months at Parent Stock level, and few months more, in 2026, at broiler level.

On top of GP duck supply, Grimaud Frères could realize the shipment of GP geese and GP meat type pigeon to People’s Republic of China during this 1st half of 2025, with also perfect liveability and sanitary status of those poultry shipped.
